STATEMENT BY THE HEART OF ALABAMA
COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN REGARDING THE BOY SCOUTS

The following information is offered in an effort to clear up potential misunderstandings about the CFC and the Boy Scouts programs locally and nationally.

In order to avoid competing with its local Councils, the National Boy Scouts organization does not raise funds through charitable giving campaigns such as the CFC...only their local councils raise money. That's why you do not see the Boy Scouts of America in the CFC’s National list.

The Black Warrior Council of Boy Scouts (Agency Code 47042), Chattahoochee Council of Boy Scouts (Agency Code 29194), and the Tukabatchee Area Council of Boy Scouts (Agency Code 77162) participate in the Heart of Alabama Combined Federal Campaign. 

Boy Scouts organizations have been an integral part of the Heart of Alabama CFC for many years.  We acknowledge their significant contributions to our local communities and welcome their participation.
